He also previously claimed that Denuvo has no performance impact, only for it to turn out he was running Hogwarts Legacy locked at 30 fps.
Doesn't matter, he won't be the one who will make whatever tool is coming out, he only opened source the emulator.
Not saying this isn't some promising tech, just don't go in expecting it to be the magic bullet that finally takes out Denuvo.
I'm not loosing sleep over this. The only Denuvo games I have are 13 old ones that can bypass the Denuvo check by either:
a) Replacing the EXE and a couple of other files (9/13)
b) Using a fully downloaded cracked version (4/13)
As for new games by Capcom or SquareEnix, I wait the 6 months (or 2 years in a couple of cases) for Denuvo to be removed before I purchase them. Finally, there's SEGA, well I buy their modern games on Switch.
really? I read some time ago, in this group I think, that Denuvo is working even in pirated games.
To be clear, Denuvo is still in there, it just doesn't phone home. The best way to test this is uninstalling a Steam game with Denuvo, reinstalling it, Go Offline with Steam and then launch that said game, you will get a message saying that you need to be online. By swapping the EXE and well as a few other files (depending on the game), I can lunch it without going online.
I can also do the same with some games that requires Steam to be always online like Mega Man Legacy Collection 2. The way I see this, it's not pirating, I purchased those games, it's more like the old day where you would download a No-disc crack to prevent having to insert your CD or DVD just to launch the game.
The only downside is that you cannot earn any achievements when playing offline, so my recommendation, unlock them all if this is your cup of tea and then do the procedure (mind you, it's not a permanent procedure).
Perfect !

I am well aware that he's a grifter, but he's not the one who made the software nor will he be the one to make anything out of it.
That has nothing to do with why Sega is falling off. Sega's overuse of Denuvo(From what I heard being partially owned by Irdeto), along with a lot of horrible decisions(which really is the Story of Sega in a nutshell) are why they're starting to falter.
SEGA of Japan is legendary in the mistakes they've made in the past.
