I'm waiting to see if Ace Combat 8 will have Denuvo. With how Bandai Namco has been acting, it's a safe bet.
lukaself Dec 11 @ 10:42pm
I think it's pretty much a given with SEGA. All the other Total War Warhammer titles still have Denuvo but thanks for bringing that title to our attention.
I think Total War: WARHAMMER 40,000 it's just a matter of time to see the DENUVO tag pop in.. It's SEGA ! But, will see.
Creeper of Doom Dec 11 @ 5:10pm
Pragmata has Denuvo… of course it does, it’s from Capcom
lukaself Dec 11 @ 9:27am
Thanks for the heads up. Thread is up there - feel free to contribute, there's always a chance all the company needs to give up on using Denuvo is a little push: https://steamcommunity.com/app/4115450/discussions/0/691995483855428955/
JetPackAndButlers Dec 11 @ 9:25am
Phantom Blade Zero Steam page is up, Denuvo confirmed :lilypadconfused: cuz of course
Creeper of Doom Dec 5 @ 4:54pm
Total War Three Kingdoms and Pharaoh Dynasties are coming to GOG DRM Free, and Sega being Sega they aren't going to remove Denuvo from the Steam versions, just like Yakuza Like a Dragon did.
Kevin Dec 4 @ 2:02pm
Well that's disappointing. It's a game that I've wanted to purchase, but had written off due to Denuvo. With its new publisher removing it, I thought I'd finally be able to.

But I won't support any 3rd party DRM, and a mystery custom one makes me even more uncomfortable. Because I don't know what it's doing, how it might restrict me, or if it may simply stop working altogether one day in the future.

Oh well. My backlog is big enough as it is. I'll live.
Creeper of Doom Dec 4 @ 12:13pm
The "Solution" being a custom DRM wrapped in VMProtect, found when searching through the game executable.
lukaself Dec 4 @ 3:58am
Thanks for keeping an eye out.
That Krafton announcement is clear as mud and implies that they believe DRM helps. :steamfacepalm:
A few posters have already confirmed that they replaced Denuvo with their own in-house solution. It remains to be seen whether it will have any adverse effects.
ExiaRS Dec 4 @ 1:44am
Denuvo support for the PC version of Hi-Fi RUSH is scheduled to end at 00:00(KST) on January 16, 2026. Please note that even after Denuvo is removed, the game’s own anti-tampering features will remain active and will not affect normal gameplay.

This adjustment is intended to provide a more stable and efficient service environment. We sincerely appreciate all players who continue to support the game through legitimate use.

Kevin Dec 3 @ 6:48pm
I now see that while I was checking SteamDB and posting this comment, they themselves posted a news item confirming its removal XD
Kevin Dec 3 @ 6:14pm
An update was just pushed out for Hi-Fi Rush to reflect Krafton as its new publisher. SteamDB reports the executable decreasing in size by 316.93 MiB. I believe Denuvo has finally been removed.
lukaself Dec 3 @ 5:00pm
@GORDAO: Yes. And like every EA sports title, the whole point is planned obsolescence: they have no intention to ever remove it and will delist those games in order to push you towards the more recent, more expensive versions they release every year.
gordao¥$ Dec 3 @ 3:25pm
F1 2025 still have Denuvo??
Pillman Nov 22 @ 11:30am
Denuvo has been removed from Onimusha 2: Samurai's Destiny, replaced with Enigma
Desphael Nov 10 @ 6:57am
That's an issue with every place where I posted a link to the group unfortunately, and while I'll try to fix them, I'll definitely be missing some. I'll do the Funcom ones today at least.
Creeper of Doom Nov 9 @ 8:28pm
Should probably update the Full Review links for Funcom games like Conan Exiles. Because it still appears to use the old "DenuvoGames" Group Name
lukaself Nov 4 @ 5:07am
They can't keep half-assing it like that, though - they'll have to choose whether they want to be more like SEGA or more like CDPR at some point. The current way, they'll get none of the usual goodwill benefit from publishing DRM-free games which is supposed to make people pirate your games less due to offering a good service - not while they keep using the controversial Denuvo at the other end of their supply chain. :clickbutton:
lukaself Nov 4 @ 5:07am
CAPCOM has reached that "schizophernic corporation" stage a while ago. When a company gets larger, you're bound to have some internal disagreements between managers sooner or later. While it keeps growing by about a hundred employees every year, their CEO isn't really invested into the day to day and is more interested in managing their huge wine estate, which means the company has no clear direction on the issue of DRM/preservation. And it shows:
On one hand they claim that mods are like piracy: damaging for their reputation, but on the other hand they release their games on GOG which has embraced mods, ownership, and the DRM-free model.
Pillman Nov 4 @ 4:29am
While Capcom still continues to release Denuvo infested games on Steam, they released RE1 HD Remaster & RE0 on GOG on the 30th October

https://store.steampowered.com/app/2852190/Monster_Hunter_Stories_3_Twisted_Reflection/ Another for the list boss, Denuvo Anti-Tamper 5 machine limit. Listed right there on the page.
lukaself Oct 29 @ 3:50pm
Anti-Cheat? It's single player 🤦‍♂️ Are they filling out the boxes at random again?
Thanks for the info!
JetPackAndButlers Oct 29 @ 3:39pm
https://store.steampowered.com/app/3764200/Resident_Evil_Requiem/ Denuvo Anti Cheat + Denuvo Anti Tamper, Capcom is on a roll once more :P
lukaself Oct 28 @ 7:28pm
There's usually no official indication, unless the publisher feels like disclosing it. Some countries have rules in place to force disclosure but do not enforce it very strictly.
Triturion Oct 28 @ 4:22pm
New here. When the Denuvo Removed is added is there any indications provided that a new DRM has replaced it such as with Capcom and Enigma? My apologies in advance if this has been discussed before.
pgames-food Oct 28 @ 1:47am
the eula is very sneaky too: (if its the one i looked at)
lukaself Oct 28 @ 1:21am
Not surprising coming from Ubisoft but I'm not sure why we didn't have it in the curator already. Thanks for keeping an eye out!
Creeper of Doom Oct 27 @ 2:51pm
Ubisoft Uno has Denuvo.

It's located inside the "GameAssembly.dll" in the game folder along with dbdata.dll, can be viewed on SteamDB.
lukaself Oct 27 @ 3:52am
@lucifer WPF Send me links or screenshots of the offending material and I'll take a look.
Lucifer WPF Oct 26 @ 8:07pm
The user QuantumX is a scammer in the community messaging individuals in this group.
Running the old "you bought this rust item but didnt pay" scheme. I dont even play rust, I have like 2 minutes in the game so that was funny.

Probably should ban him.
Lordecalibre Oct 23 @ 9:11pm
nice work !
lukaself Oct 23 @ 10:32am
The review will be updated shortly. Thanks for keeping an eye out

Here's 2 I found aside from this group if it helps

Desphael Oct 15 @ 5:09pm
As I said before, I'm only one person and I can't create a group for everything, especially since I'm doing all this for free and I work long days and weeks, so I don't have more time. Even on this I don't spend a lot of time right now, since I'm quite happy with what we have so far, though I do have more plans for the future.
I'm still working on the logistics side of the website though, website which will include a lot of anti consumer practices, not only Denuvo and not only gaming related.

But if anyone creates any group, I'll be more than happy to advertise it to give them a boost at the start.
There are other groups that cover DRM, what happen to them?
AntiGrieferGames Oct 15 @ 1:25pm
I would suggest to create a group "DRM-Watch" after Denuvo Watch. Maybe this will be attension to put the Games that uses Steam-DRM. maybe this helps :)
lukaself Oct 3 @ 12:13pm
So I discovered disappointingly that contrary to the original, Hades 2 has a DRM on Steam and so far, the developers have completely ignored my requests for comment. They probably think it's a minor issue but feel free to hammer that thread to prove them wrong: https://steamcommunity.com/app/1145350/discussions/1/601916423125826841/?tscn=1758972603
ExiaRS Sep 30 @ 2:34am
Great find. That would exactly fall into what I wrote.
It makes sense Irdeto approached the new top executives, and showed them how they "can" earn more.
lukaself Sep 29 @ 7:42am
Looks like Bamco just had a big change at the top level. Former CEO and few key posts retired in April 2025. Also, the board made the top executives salary more dependent on results, like 30% fixed 70% based on sales, which could explain the sudden change in politics.
ExiaRS Sep 29 @ 5:22am
Yea, I don't get it why Bamco started to use them after 5+ years...

I can think only that somebody at Irdeto gave them offer too good to refuse like really big discount, plus showed them how they are "losing" sales as Denuvo games can't be bypassed for many years.
Lordecalibre Sep 25 @ 6:26am
Bandai has really become trash... now it's a game with Denuvo drm? As Julius says, if I don't buy it, the discount is bigger.
lukaself Sep 25 @ 3:41am
I've contacted Bamco for comment. Let's hope they can offer a bit of transparency, at least.
lukaself Sep 25 @ 1:03am
That's a shame. Looks like Bamco is going back to the ignore list.
Leonia Sep 24 @ 5:16pm
https://store.steampowered.com/app/2362060/CODE_VEIN_II/

Mentioned on the store page. Even if I have no interest in the Code Vein games, I'm really not liking the resurgence of Denuvo in Bamco's titles.
pgames-food Sep 14 @ 6:37pm
yeah theres a lot of honest gamers who buy games and dont like being punished for it :lunar2019piginablanket:
lukaself Sep 14 @ 3:11pm
We just passed 6k members! Congratulations everyone! Let's push anti-preservation tools back into the darkness where they belong. :clickbutton:
Waifu4Life Sep 11 @ 12:41pm
Oh well, the price will be lower 6 months after release.
