They could of at least practice self-discipline when utilizing AI for the sake of goodness instead of deceit. That will indicate that Christians who utilized AI must learn to be responsible to the fullness, though some of us will be glad about the safety features in most of the tools.
A question for anyone here - has anyone actually come across clearly AI generated sermons that ARE biblical? Or are they actually all intended to lead believers astray?
So many of us now are losing our jobs to it. As a society, we've grown mentally lazy and undiscerning. And sadly, kids and university students are using it to pass their exams without doing any real work for their education.
Time and time again, AI has been proven to skew the facts--especially in news reporting. (Just imagine having criminal charges brought against you because some AI camera didn't get a clear picture of your face!)
Here is a perfect example of how untrustworthy AI is for knowledge and information:

While I could go on and on, I feel the need to stop talking about this now as it makes my blood boil. 😠
That's necromancy in a modern wrapping. About a year ago our news station showed a church in Europe, where people could make confessions to an AI jesus displayed on a screen and the AI jesus would talk back. People LOVED it. They were standing in line for it. They defended it by saying they felt closer to God and that it made it more personal. They love the feelings it gives them, even if these feelings are based on deception and a clear abomination to God. There are now websites like that and it is advertised as to 'unlock spiritual wisdom and discovering guidance by having meaningful conversation with jesus'.
My biggest concern when it comes to all this is the lack of Biblical discernment because of "feel-good feelings", and itching ears. Sadly, with sermons being fabricated by AI and attributed to known pastors, it brings in a whole new level of deceit, as the persons voice is being used without permission, and for the listener who is unaware that it is AI created and false, this can do a lot of harm.
When I just got saved, I looked on Youtube for sermons and Youtube would always recommend me Joyce Meyer. I had no idea about female pastors, prosperity and charismatic movements and all that. I was a baby Christian. So when I heard her sermons I was like: "This is good!" because it told me what I wanted to hear. Fortunately for me I was already reading the Bible at that time and soon enough I realized that things weren't matching up with what Scripture says.
God's Word protected me from stepping on that road. The same thing counts for baby Christians who look for sermons from faithful preachers like John MacArthur and run into all this AI created falsehood that is found on Youtube. Please do not click on random videos from random channels but go to their official channels, and most important read your Bible! Not only read it but study it. Be students of the Word of God. That is the only way we stand firm in deceptive times like these, as we rejoice in the Truth.
Sadly, people seem to want something tangible. Something relatable. A feel good 'jesus' that will wink at our sins without us having any remorse, and will allow us go to heaven because we foolishly believe ourselves to be a 'good' person. Anyone who has read the biblical account of the Exodus knows the Hebrews did the same darn thing, despite the direct proof of G-d saving them and providing for them. Even Moses (who wasn't even sick or injured) died suddenly and without stepping foot into the promised land because he disobeyed G-d by striking the rock with his staff out of sheer frustration with the Hebrews.
Exactly this ☝ and Amen!
Exactly! And I also keep this in mind:
New Age:
Jesus, enlightened Master, returns post-2025 to tell the world his teachings are misunderstood. He’ll align with universal esoteric truths, paving the way for the Maitreya, the "true christ” for the Golden Age, leading humanity to “New World Order” of unity and spirituality. Aims to dissolve Abrahamic dogma's for global progression.
Islam:
Jesus (Isa), human prophet, returns near Judgment Day to tell the world his teachings are misunderstood.
Jesus Christ warned:
If anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is the Christ!’ or ‘There he is!’ do not believe it. False christs and false prophets will arise and perform great signs and wonders, so as to lead astray, if possible, even the elect. I have told you beforehand. If they say to you, ‘Look, he's in the wilderness,’ do not go out. If they say, ‘Look, he's in the inner rooms,’ do not believe it. For as the lightning comes from the east and shines as far as the west, so will be the coming of the Son of Man.
The moment any AI platform starts spitting out something people don't want to hear, it is lobotomized and then weaponized to fit the desired narrative. Nothing new under the sun.
The application here may or may not be sinister. It may be a result of people being lazy. I only say this because I'm seeing all kinds of low effort, lazy nonsense with AI in the public education system. Students are using it to write papers and many teachers are also using it to write their own stuff including recommendation letters. Yes, I'm seeing teachers and professors using AI to write recommendation letters without understanding the consequences of doing so. I discard those recommendations and that applicant is immediately moved down the totem pole or outright eliminated.
Thanks for the heads up on the online sermons.
As found here, it's very important to do your own research and not immediately accept what you are hearing or seeing from others as the truth.

Incredibly lazy. I would never in a million years consider using AI for a scholarly paper or legal filing.
“I am praying for them. I am not praying for the world but for those whom you have given me, for they are yours. All mine are yours, and yours are mine, and I am glorified in them. And I am no longer in the world, but they are in the world, and I am coming to you. Holy Father, keep them in your name, which you have given me, that they may be one, even as we are one.
While I was with them, I kept them in your name, which you have given me. I have guarded them, and not one of them has been lost except the son of destruction, that the Scripture might be fulfilled. But now I am coming to you, and these things I speak in the world, that they may have my joy fulfilled in themselves. I have given them your word, and the world has hated them because they are not of the world, just as I am not of the world.
I do not ask that you take them out of the world, but that you keep them from the evil one. They are not of the world, just as I am not of the world. Sanctify them in the truth; your Word is truth. As you sent me into the world, so I have sent them into the world. And for their sake I consecrate myself, that they also may be sanctified in truth.” John 17:9-19
Jesus Christ is the Way, the Truth, and the Life.
We are in this world, but not of this world.
Cling to Him and hold fast, beloved brothers and sisters in Christ.
Maranatha and Amen!
