You see, I hate it when Belgians fight each other because of their language or the region they live in. I love Belgium and I´m proud to be belgian, but god our country´s missing the national sentiment!
Vlams, learn some more french, Walloons please learn English first and then Dutch, too. Simple as that.
jij kent waarschijnlijk veel Walen!
en ik dacht dat e vent tenminste op e bal kon trappen
Ehmmm, okay. Here again for dummies: I said that WE BELGIANS (why is a Dutch here anyway, or are you a Vlam?) are mostly missing national sentiment, because we think of us to be seperated by language... And I said exactly what you meant, just in a more polite way. Nothing was contradictory: Waloons learn exactly the same "amount" of Dutch and English in school like Vlams. Waloons just have the tendency to not use them in life.
I never said they should learn another language before the "2" national ones, lol.
And you know, Belgium has three national languages: Dutch, French, German. And no language is better than another. First language first, then English. If you can speak English you are free to learn other national languages, too. If you use them or not is just a thing about respect. Basta.
Okay, that´s one thing.
Second, how do you "know" about the Waloon school system if you´re a Vlam? :) I have a german speaking friend learning in a waloon school, and he´s telling me you´re quite wrong: Maybe it´s just a matter which school exactly you visit, though.
The "one good reason" would being a good example. I know I know, and you´re right if you say that Waloons mostly don´t care about Dutch. But if this generation doesn´t understand, then maybe the next? Give them a chance: If all Vlams would be as shitty to me as you talk right now, then I wouldn´t give a damn about Dutch aswell, just an example.
Right, you don´t care. A LOT don´t care. Ask me, I don´t care if you all don´t care. But I care about the german speaking part, because we of all want Belgium to be united. That´s why WE learn ALL 3 languages... And English of course. So stop being a jerk and help us to get well together in our little country. If we can´t smell each other in our own country, what about the foreign countries then? Goddamn, should we set up a new world of having no government, again? I don´t want to.
