Error Code 450 For Steam VR
I've been encountering the same issue for the past couple of months. I've also contacted Steam support for a long time and they couldn't even figure it out.

It started towards the end of owning my old PC and now the issue is happening on my new PC.

On my VR view with the Steam Link App it allows me to connect but once I'm in and play a game, the screen freezes and there is a Steam Logo that pops up and spins.

Next, on my VR view it will say "Host not responding" for the title and below it, it will say, "Your host PC has stopped responding. Please restart SteamVR." Which I've done numerous amounts of times. On the bottom left of my VR view in that same window, it shows Error 450.

Now, on my monitor it says "The VRLink Diver encountered a fatal error: [EOS] Threads never reset. Waited 10s. Timed out. On the window on the top left it shows for the title I think, "Restart for vrlink driver."

If anyone could help me on this issue, that would be very helpful. I've restarted my PC, factory reset it, I've watched so many tutorials and nothing has worked, I keep my drivers up to day but that didn't work, I have tried updating my VR and PC that did not work, and I've done everything I could've possibly done.

I will also list my PC specifications and my VR to see if there is any issues:

GTX 1650 Super
AMD Ryzen 5 5600GT
32GB of DDR4 Ram
256 GB SSD
4TB Hard Drive
400W ZUMAX Model No: ATX-400W

VR:

Meta Quest 3s

What operating system are you using? You are lacking information to help you. Most times people who do not post operating system are on windows 7.

Error 450 in SteamVR (VRLink Driver) is almost always a host PC issue, not the headset. In your case, the biggest red flag is the GTX 1650 Super, it’s below the recommended GPU for Steam Link / PCVR with Quest 3, and it commonly causes VRLink driver timeouts and freezes like this.

Things to try (in order):

Disable SteamVR Home (SteamVR → Settings → General) to reduce load

Use wired Link (USB) instead of Steam Link / Air Link to test stability

Close all overlays (Discord, GeForce Experience, MSI Afterburner, etc.)

Set SteamVR resolution scaling to 50–70%

Update GPU drivers using a clean install (DDU if possible)

If it still happens, the honest answer is:
The GPU is likely not strong enough for stable Quest 3 PCVR, which is why the issue followed you across PCs. Error 450 is a known symptom of the VRLink driver timing out under load.
