Only thing I had somewhat fun sneaking around recently was in Intravenous II. But, that's a top down like hotline miami with some stealth elements. (No, you cannot "ghost" it im fairly sure.)

Those games are usually put in the immersive sim category/genre.

Deathloop, Prey (2017), Dues Ex are some more.

Shadows of Doubt and Gloomwood are some recent indie examples.

System Shock 2 got a remake/remaster recently too.

If you like those kinds of games maybe try larians RPGs either Divinity Original Sin 2 or Baldurs Gate 3 if you haven't already.

You can't go wrong with Metal Gear(just avoid Survive), the franchise should be on sale on the 18th.

Idk but I love me some immersive story games. like Detroit become human, cyberpunk 2077, house party etc. def check those games out you wont regret it.
