If you could purchase a Steam game using Steam points
How many on average do you think it should cost?

And this would probably have to be divided into tiers based on complexity and other variables.

Off the top of my head I would put Ghost N Goblins Resurrection and Contra Galuga as one "class" if u will and then lets say "Battlefield" or "Call Of Duty" in another.

Or do you think all games should be the same..:price?

I would have purchase a Steam Deck Level 3 a long time ago if that were the case.

Dollars spent into points already has a conversion rate. Why wouldn't the reverse also be valid?
100,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 points.

:nkCool:
You'd have to have been here years and/or gotten so many awards and earned points to buy a game.

I wouldn't see them making this possible anyways. That isn't how you make money.
To curb the explosion in point farming, it should be a minimum of 10,000 points per 1 cent and should only apply to games published by Valve and only ever the full RRP, with any sale discounts excluded from the transaction.

Not a replicator no, but then, how do you TAKE money?

It is their house essentially and they would have the final say in this surely. But look what all they host here? But if they only do Valve games would that not be like unto a monopoly?

No. Legally, those are the only games Valve can do it for. They'd have to renegotiate all contracts with any third party to allow those titles into such a program. It'd be a massive waste of time and resources for little to no benefit.

Oh the irony.
Way more than 250k, given that's how many I have lying around without really trying.

. . .and giving points any real value would make the current Jester-farming efforts look like amateur night. No thank you.

(but yeah, it'll never happen. And rightfully so.)
I've received 299,684 points since the time points were inflicted upon the community. I now have 39,194 but no interest in buying things from the points shop if I can find the tradeable thing on the Steam Marketplace. The event stickers, emotes, backgrounds, etc used to be free, so I'm skipping those too now.

But do you believe it..COULD happen?

Nope, could never happen. They are worth nothing, and developers want to be paid with money, not fake points.

Only if your name is Alanis.
Is there really any need for further reasons to create meaningless junk threads for the purpose of farming?
