New Dawn keeps completely crashing my PC
I've played the game for 5 hours and it worked pretty okay but then it suddenly crashed my pc. Once I start the game and play for under 10 minutes I suddenly will get no signal on the monitor, and my PC becomes unresponsive until I restart it with the power button. It is definetely an issue with the game. I have verified the game files on steam, disabled hd textures, deleted hd textures, reinstalled the game, restarted the game on a new save file, tried using compatibility windows 8 mode. It just keep crashing my pc no matter what. Anyone know how I could fix this?

got same issue, it freeze, image stays but pc stops responding. Do you use razer synapse?
Hi, managed to halfly fix it. I use corsair icue and it has integration with the game. I thought it was the problem so I turned it off. It helped for a 30 minutes but then it started to crash again. So my fix is: delete the game, disable the hd textures on steam DLC's, completely delete the folder "C:\Users\*username*\Documents\My Games\Far Cry New Dawn". It doesn't effect your saves. Install the game from steam. Make sure cloud saving is enabled on both Steam and Ubisoft Connect. If you are in russia, turn on the vpn for the whole pc. Then you will be able to play for some time(4-5 hours). Eventually the game might crash the pc again. BUT I figured that the PC is working, It's just the image problem. SO I made a small .bat file that stops the game and put it on macro for a keyboard. So the next time it happens, I just exit the game, and start from steam. After using the .bat file, I actually never reinstalled the game, it works just fine. As far as I can tell, it has nothing to do with the windows 11 version 24H2, just some really occasional problem. You may contact me, if you need the .bat file.
If you need the HD textures, reinstall it only after you successfully played the game for some time and it didn't crash. I'm not sure, maybe they are the problem. Btw "MyGames" folder stores the info about your ingame graphics only.
