Apologies for the late reply and I'm sorry to hear it.
Your CPU consists of P and E cores that can make these games not run correctly.
Try use performance (P) cores only with these titles.
An important step is to make sure to disable all additional and unnecessary applications working in the background, especially all overlays, communicators, system tools and monitoring software - Disabling background applications on PC[www.ubisoft.com]
Check paging file settings
Go to: System > Advanced system settings > Performance > Virtual Memory
Ensure it’s not disabled entirely. Even with 32GB RAM, some titles expect a pagefile configured. Leave it to the system to manage.
I hope it will speed up the loading times on your PC.
The game runs very smoothly with up to more than 180 fps (depending on the scene).
It only suffers from very slow loading.
As I wrote I have already tried running the game as admin and disabling hyperthreading. I did this with Process Lasso, which also disables E-cores and only leaves the P-core main threads. This made absolutely no visible difference.
What are normal loading times I should expect with my setup ?
It takes about 5 minutes to get to the actual game play from the first click.
Dying or the so called fast travel take a bit more than 2 minutes.
In order to improve the situation I have disable some useless (for me) Windows services such as "fax" and xbox-related services. No visible change either.
• Intel 13th/14th gen (e.g. i9-13900K, i9-14900KS)
→ Fix: Disable Hyper-Threading in BIOS
• Intel Core Ultra (e.g. Ultra 9 185H, 285K)
→ Fix: Disable E-Cores in BIOS
I can confirm that for my system disabling hyperthreading in BIOS worked to fix the long loading times in Far Cry 5 and New Dawn.
I can also confirm that I get the same result as you.
This is not a "solution", though. I need hyper-threading for other tasks that benefit from it. So I hope a per-game software solution can be found.
Please check if there are newer versions of BIOS firmware for your motherboards and keep them up to date.
