English dubs are horrible for everyone but americans lmao, try watching anime with english dubbing, its especially irritating when american women try to sound young.

I mean true some dubs are absolutely horrendous even coming from a dub fan like myself that's saying a lot but that doesn't mean I think all dubs are bad.

I understand where you're coming from believe me but there's no denying that dubs have been getting better. It's the publishers decision to hire good voice actors or cheap out.

I'm still hoping that this is a good dub.

Not every dub is bad.

I like english voices in NieR: Automata and in Tales of Berseria.
Popful Mail is also cool with its cheesy dub.

That and as for anime - try to watch Black Lagoon without a dubbing, that would make it worse.

After comparing the Japanese dub with the English trailer, I think this is one of the rare case where I think the English dub is superior.

example : anthing with Xander mobus in it is instantly a good dub in my eyes

It's a waste of money to pay bad "actors" to make horrendous dubs for a game or anime. For anime at least we have fansubbers who properly translates and subs and distribute them.

Let's hope at least they leave original dub available, so we don't have to rely on some good soul to UNDUB it.

woah hey now. While i absolutely with you with hiring bad actors for a game (Like Dynasty Warrios 9) We can't just Not give a dub a chance. If it turns out bad than we have fandubs or unofficial redub projects.

Again though I really hope this doesn't turn into a Dub vs Sub Debate as it was never my intention I was just extremely surprised to see that this game is getting dubbed and I'm glad and I hope it's a good dub. The voices in the trailer seemed promising.

That hasn't been the rule for years. Most subs are now directly ripped from official sources, which are often heavily localized and edited. You can count the amount of groups actually translating things themselves on one hand now, and they usually only do it because there is nobody who licensed said show. Nevermind the memesubs...

It appears that this game will have a dual-audio option. To be able to switch between the two languages would be nice for new game plus and subsequent playthoughs.

I have preordered, I am excited to and I am happy about the price, probably not. It could be cheaper but my choice.
