Final Chapter Troubleshooting FAQ
My Game is crashing while joining or creating a World. A Unity Error message is shown shortly.
This can be related to outdated OR too new Graphics drivers. Please check your drivers. For some users an downgrade of the NVIDIA Driver (e.g. to 472.12) helped.

Raft fails to start (Windows Error or Crash on Load).
Disable your Anti-Virus or add Raft to exceptions.

Avast/Norton security detected raft.exe as a virus
Mark the file as safe as this is a false positive on the anti-virus program

Application load error 3:0000065432
Your antivirus blocked Raft, make sure to add it to your antivirus whitelist and then verify the game files

After placing the NEW anchor and using it once, the raft will no longer move, no matter what.
Save & Exit to Main Menu, then reload the save. Afterwards, things should work as intended.

Some sound (especially personal sounds like walking, drinking, metal detector,…) are suddenly not playing anymore, but others are still audible.
The removal of the Juicer will bring the sounds back. The Devs will look into a permanent solution.

Joining a Multiplayer game is not working, Users are stuck on the loading screen or getting a timeout while joining.
This can be related to a tool called GameFirst by Asus ROG. Please check the following article on a solution: https://raft.chat/bluescreen

In Multiplayer one person unlocked the new Character, but others not.
The Player who was not able to unlock the Character, has to talk to the yellow sphere, which appears at the place of the new Character, again.

The boss of Varuna Point is gone.
There are multiple rooms, check if it‘s already in the room above you. Please also ensure you're playing the latest version of the game (1.09).

Buttler Bot do not show up on Tangaroa.
Solution: This can happen if you play the game offline. If playing the game online does not work, follow the below steps:

Sail away from the location until it despawns, thats normally around 2500 units.
Exit the game
Verify the game files
Start the game and load the world (be online!)
Sail to the new location of Tangaroa

Not being able to mute mic

Currently the game only looks at your system settings.
If you never want to use the mic in-game: remove Raft’s mic permissions
You want to be able to simply mute: setup system control shortcuts.
- Setup a keyboard macro
- If you have a gaming mouse/keyboard or Stream Deck, set a system mic mute button.

Red outlines displaying on objects
This issue is being caused by Anisotropic filtering (AF) being set to any setting other then Application-Controlled
1. Open NVidia Control Panel while Raft is closed
2. Expand 3D settings
3. Select Manage 3D settings
4. Set Anisotropic filtering to Application-Controlled
5. Select Apply
