Riddle Minigame Lies
So I tried one of the riddle minigames (it is just 20 questions but it can answer more than yes or no so it should be easier right? Wrong. I was given a clue that suggested a flower so I asked "Does it start with an A" and it responded "Yes it starts with an A"

So I asked "are they red" yes, some of them "are they blue" yes, some of them, "are they yellow" yes some of them... okay so a flow that starts with A and can be multiple colors. Anemone, relevant but not the answer. African Daisy, relevant but not the answer. African Lily, Relevant but not the answer. Allium, relevant but not the answer.

You get it, I went through a lot of A names and then failed and was told the answer was... chrysanthemums... that does not start with an A.

So I lost because it lied to me. ♥♥♥♥ this minigame.

Yes. It lies,

For me it said A is in the answer but answer is "Ivy"

To test this I tried again (I did in fact get the second go correct but it was an easy one where the answer was "lantern" and I know it after 3 guesses) and asked "Does it start with an A" it said yes. Then "Does it start with a B" also yes. I confronted it with my next "question" by asking if it is lying and used like 5 "questions" to see that they apparently used a very bad chat bot for this despite having a chat bot for the various NPC's you can "befriend" via the PM system where you can have semi-intelligent conversations with them.

They need to sort out the riddle bot's logic.

It gave me one today that wanted the scientific name of a tree instead of the common name. I even guessed the common name at one point and that was not correct, didn't even say something like "close but be more specific."

this mini game is terrible.

It doesn't make sense at all. in the case of "Quack" - answer- "frog"

or it requires knowledge of chinese culture. "festival food" - answer - "moon cake".

or just hard, how many people know what a "brachipod" is?

THE MOST GARBAGE THING EVER IN A GAME, DEVS SHOULD REMOVE ASSAP THAT TRASH MINIGAME.

And this post has made me uninstall the game while installing it. Maybe the localization will get better but I'm not playing something that makes zero sense and can block progression potentially with crap localization

"soft and sticky" (Out of pity it told me that this is a cooking ingredient, then a root vegetable with a hard outer shell that commonly pairs with steak)
answer: eggplant


"slide" (further giving insight that it generates electricity after a lot of failed attempts)
answer: electric eel

it's a real coin toss whether or not you'll get something solvable lol

Yup. basically if I do like 10 guesses and don't feel like I am getting anywhere when it gives me a bigger hint at 11 I guess something completely different and if that is somehow closer I give up and reroll it.

Got one the other day I got in one, forget what it was but the starter clue was such that it could be literally nothing else. Think the answer was "fishing."

not optional if you want 100% the maps.
you need to complete them or you will be stuck on 9x% always.

I just plug all of them in chatgpt and say "clue: xxx 20 questions" and it solves it in basically 10 rounds or fewer. The only one I got stuck on, and chatgpt, was some thing called a water tank to store water.

Oh I have had many that the answer was 100% unrelated to the initial clue.
