You're supposed to get your gear up, and get the minor power ups. When you do this, the boss fights are pretty easy, with the exception of the last boss.

Got all gear up and power up but just spent all my time chasing the boss all over the room until he killed me. Several tries always resulted in the same. No fun running around like a fool trying to catch him enough times to kill. I read that this was a late update that ruined the game.

Last update was in 2018, I beat the game again pretty easily around a month back or so. The game isn't ruined, so not sure what you're going on about.

Plus, there are only a few bosses where you have to trail after them. Most bosses are large, and you have to deal with obstacles to create an attack opportunities. So, really, not sure what you're going on about.

The slime boss for instance, you kill the red slime to heal, and then attack the boss that is trailing after you.

Major bosses are in the background and are just there, you're avoiding the attacks to get to the point where it can be attacked. That or killing some obstacles to bring down its shield. These are very basic game designs and nothing out of the ordinary.

Hell, currently playing the game again to see what you're going on about and nothing changed, still a pretty easy game with minimal running around and more of creating opportunities to attack.

Plus, there is a difficulty option in case the player is still having trouble.

Thank you. Just tried it again with same results. Where are the difficulty settings? All I can find are volume and window size.

Difficulty options is right before a major boss fight(Stage boss). You get three options, 'Onward', 'Easy', 'Hard'.

If you get the legendary equipment in each stage, you'll be able to tank through normal mode(Onward). Hard mode requires being more careful.

Also upgrade your skill levels.

Phantom Strike will be the most useful skill, fast damage and it dodges, and knocks back enemies. You should be able to spam it on all bosses except the last one.

When dealing with mini bosses, the ones to get the legendary equipment. Have a strong weapon and spam Phantom Strike.

As a last note, be-careful in Demon's Frontier, as there are missable chests. Miss these, and you will not be able to complete the set for Hydrangea Sword and the armor, the two best equipment in the game.

You sure you are playing Eternal Senia?

Since the game gives you Phantom Strike shortly after starting it.

Yes, we must be on different tracks. The only similarity I see in your pictures is the image of Senia. All else is different. I downloaded my copy of Eternal Senia on Steam. Are there any mods maybe you have used? Otherwise I'm confused. BTW, I have no special strikes at all, just bump the enemy over and over. I started another game from beginning just to see if I missed anything. Nothing.

Nope, no mods, wonder what version you have. Since I uninstalled the game and reinstalled it multiple times.

Try searching the game on Steam, not sure what is happening there. Maybe there is another version?

You can also try verifying the game file integrity to see if data is missing.

Should be 394 files.

If all else fails, try uninstalling and removing the game from your computer, then download it from the store.

Phantom Strike is obtained in the Fairy Forest, shortly after entering it. It is learned after Senia deflects an elf's arrow.

No version is given. I verified the files, there are 394. There is no other version on Steam. I did uninstall and remove the game completely then downloaded it anew. I never got to Fairy Forest I am still in the Eternal Tower and fighting the first boss. I would get it on GOG but they don't generally have these type of games. Thanks again for trying to help. Your version of the game looks much better than mine. Did you get it on Steam?

Ah, that is the tutorial dungeon. After you beat the first boss, the slime. You will go to the Forest. Just kill the small red slimes to heal HP and repeat.

And yes, this version is from Steam.

When the boss is charging, run away.

Here are some tips for this point of the game.

Dragon
--> Run behind it, you will attack it completely safe.

Slime boss
--> Attack it until it starts spilling small red slime.
--> Ration out the small red slimes, kill one when you need to heal and heal.

You will have no skills for this section of the game.

Thank you, but I am still curious as to why your version is so much better than mine since we both got it on Steam. After hearing about your version I am not very interested in continuing with mine. Very strange.

Yeah, weird, maybe my computer?

Anyway, I think in the slime boss fight. In the corner of the room, there should be breakable objects that drops health to heal as well.

Also, be sure to run when the boss is charging.

Maybe you can send me a picture to show me how yours look?

Now that I think about it, the game does look better from when I played it years ago. So, probably my graphics card? Not sure.

Still, I do recommend playing it, since the story is very good.

I have a new updated graphics card. in fact my whole pc is new and up to date. Anyway, there doesn't seem to be a way to take a screenshot. F12 just exits the game. So thank you much for your time. I guess I am stuck with whatever version I have.
