I've been waiting for tthis patch to play.
I think it's more complicated for steam Valkyria 2 and 3. Because is not in the PS3 but in psVita. ^^"
Not really. This is still the CANVAS engine. Those games were for PSP btw but still had CANVAS. Since there is now a PC version of CANVAS, it wouldn't be impossible for them to port VC2 + VC3 over to PC. Course most likely fan projects will accomplish it before Sega does. For some reason Sega loves neglecting Overworks games. Skies of Arcadia and Valkyria...both some of the greatest games Sega ever churned out under Overworks or Overworks members. Its like Overworks is the Joss Whedon of Sega. Makes masterpieces but TV networks bumble them, cept in Sega's case, they make masterpieces and then Sega management bumbles them.
I could be wrong about that last part though. I mean, I'd certainly buy VC3 in any format it was released here, but I know I'm also not the normal fan given all the trouble I went to importing it, ripping it, patching it, and whatnot.
Either the are graphicly and maybe mechanicly updated (what cost a lot more money for unknown earnings) or we get a new VC from the scratch. It would be so nice if SEGA could develop a new one with the PC crowd in mind that may better to reach with strategy games then consoles.
To anyone using my PS3 button mod, you'll have to run VCPS3buttons.exe once after installing the patch. That'll modify the new executable for it use PS3 button textures again.
