Sikhism issue

Hey there everyone. I've recently begun working through some of the achievements in this game. The current one on the list is Sikh Pun.

There's just one problem. I've had a pretty successful game as Sirhand conquering a good chunk of India. But even though it is 1548 Sikhism just hasn't spawned anywhere.

Is there anything I can do to try and make this happen? I haven't been converting provinces.

This is unusually long, yes, but there's really very little you can do to accelerate the matter. For the best result, your adjacent Muslim-Hindu provinces should have Panjabi culture, and you want the province of Doaba specifically to be of one religion with an adjacent province of the other.

That's pretty much all you can do. Having a valid province (either Muslim or Hindu, with an adjacent province of the other religion) with Panjabi culture applies a x0.6 modifier to the average time for the event to happen; and if Doaba is valid, that applies a x0.4 modifier.

Finally had Sikhism spawn in Sumatra of all places in 1555.

Had to invade Sumatra to get it so I could flip and form Punjab. Achievement unlocked.

I dislike the RNG dependent ones but ah well it is done.
