Yes, I have had a bug at the beginning of the tutorial with menu, and I have to restart the game because it doesn't allow me to leave the menu.

I am also having this issue. Have you been able to figure out a workaround?

I'm having it too.
The first time I go to the Valhalla menu (when prompted by the tutorial) I see two menus come up at the same time. First the expected menu (the Valhalla specific menu) and the game menu (with game save, quit, etc). What's even weirder is all the button bindings are the original PlayStation buttons, not for the XBox controller I'm using.

I just had this issue on the Steam Deck, and the only way I could get around it was to start the game on my desktop with Steam Input disabled and using a DualSense, and after I got to the tutorial and went through it, I put my save onto the Deck and I could keep going. It's a stupid fix, but it worked.

I found a solution to the problem, there was the same problem, as a result, I decided to run a check of the integrity of the game files, after that, I turned off the Steam input system in the game settings in Steam itself, right-click on the game, properties, controller and there "disable the Steam input system", and my problem disappeared

Yikes just got this bug too, this has been an ongoing problem, still happening.
