I couldnt finish it...

I thought that a lot of the bad reviews were right wing trolls mad at Bioware for the reasons they aways are. But thats not the case. This game is actually SOFT. You cant be mean to other characters. Your Companions cant die. The dialog treats you like you are a child and repeats things over and over and over. There is no blood or gore like in other DA games. All the characters we used to love are back and are diet versions of themselves. I just had to get that rant out of the way. But here it is.
Combat is bad: Enemies are sponges and you cant take control of your companions.
Dialog is really bad and most times annoying.
The writing is bad and the quests make no sense and are annoying.

But hey the game does look pretty sometimes.
3/10 BIG SKIP / WASTE OF PRECIOUS ADULT GAMER TIME.

I've been a follower of the franchise for years, played multiple times the other 3 games.
This is a disappointment at all levels.
— Old game choices don't matter: In all the previous instalments your past games influenced the world, in a way that made you want to play all the games multiple times, to see how you could change history. Here? You only got asked who you banged in the previous game and if you bowed or not to kill Solas.
-Retcon of major lore: That's it, they didn't respect one single race lore, nor the end of the previous game. And none of the races have identity, it's like hearing a lot of humans with different visages.
-Lazy writing: The narratives are boring, and have no depth, making it predictable and kind of boring.
-Lack of personality: Most of the options of dialogue end up being kind of the same, and the character has a tiny frame to be moulded in to your own. Not like the previous instalments.

In the end, it might have been a decent game if it wasn't a dragon age, but as a dragon age? Pure garbage. I finished it just to get closure, and i deeply regret. In my opinion, It's best to take the previous game ending as an open one and not subject yourself to this travesty.

floor graphics failed, path way restricted, level up chooses seem too much. not my choice game.
