Save Files don't exist

So I bought this game last night and a BIG PROBLEM came with it. Zero save data. Now I don't mean that my saves got deleted, I mean whatever is supposed to create save data doesn't do it at all. It doesn't exist at all. So basically, any save attempts the game makes are sent to the void. I would really appreciate some help fixing this as I've looked up other similar issue reports and none will help here.

Steam saves for this game are stored at C:\Users\[Your name]\Saved Games\TangoGameworks\Hi-Fi RUSH (STEAM). maybe try creating that directory if it doesn't exist, and see if that helps? if it does exist, try checking the folder's write permissions.
