Hibiki Create process return 2

No matter what i do, i always get this error. After updating the game. (Never had mods) it was working perfectly fine like a week ago, ive reinstalled, deleted my save, (dont really care about it, always nice starting fresh), reinstalled it once more, nothing. Im stumped

I just got a trojan detection "Trojan:Win32/Wacatac.H!ml" in "steamapps\common\Hi-Fi RUSH\Hibiki\Binaries\Win64\Hi-Fi-RUSH.exe" from my windows defender.
So, I guess, the defender or other anti-virus software could block the process in your case as well. You can turn it off, but I would rather wait until they fix it.

Same here. I just saw the news, I wanna start a game, Than I got "Trojan:Win32/Wacatac.H!ml" WTH?? THEY actually wanna to do sth to our systems???

They are false positives since Denuvo is not obscuring VMProtect anymore
Upload the file to virustotal if in doubt, there you'll see that a couple tag it because of VMProtect, which can make some antivirus dislike the executable
Either add the executable to exceptions or start a campaign for the team to remove VMProtect, good luck with the latter though, very, very rare for devs to remove that one
