Turok Kex update and Kex for shadow man question/hopeful Potential new content
so recently Turok 1 got a extra update to its kex engine and some extra content that was recently found on some old beta/dev builds got added in along with some balancing to the final boss fight

I was wondering what version of kex shadow man is on and whether there might be new patches or updates that could be added

I honestly think a toggle to the water glow would be nice

a better way to get and keep the revolver/blood teddy and access iron man and NG+ other than codes you have to remember

a in game uncap to the the frame rate since it only go's to 144 in game since i think you need to go into the config files for anything higher

lastly maybe updated mod tools since just basic kpf tools kinda limits stuff
I think a full on level editor and scripting tools could be nice
beyond that there's not much i can think of


(tangent about cool things with mods and tools i want to say because I think its cool)

for example
Being able to edit the levels enemy's and add new weapons that didn't exist before get me thinking about all the mario 64 and zelda64 mods that exist

I mean I can't imagine what full on mods like master of time (a zelda 64 mod) but for shadow man can be

or even something like randomizers being made that rearrange the items enemys and level progression

Dude, this is why I am getting a gift card from Amazon & waiting for the sale of Turok & get all 3. Because no other FPS shooter beats Turok. And w/the recent updates, I cannot wait to play this series tenfold.

definitely one of my favorite fps's nothing beats the river of souls song thats burned into me from my n64 growing up

heres hoping one day we can get a rage wars remaster with online multiplayer
that right there will be the day 100%

No song was terrible on Turok, each one tries to have that mysterious but adrenaline filled pumping in it, puts you in the mood to attack fast. Even though I need to watch a serious guide every time I play Turok 2, that one is my favourite out of all of them, just because on how complicated it is. Dude, I swear to God, not enough love get pass by on them, when mentioning a good game.

That one needs to be fixed royally. I know not in my lifetime, but Acclaim was dirty back in the early 2000's before going bankrupt & I hate it.

I like the concept of evolution with the survivalist primitive type stuff and the roaming dinosaurs and from what I played the GC and XBOX versions were pretty cool

the flying missions need to be changed or something though

Maybe one day we can get a remaster

I heard that Evolution was going to be more. I saw a video on what Evolution was going to be? But Acclaim was chasing a trend back then that made them die out. Shame.
