Proton "support" has seemingly been nuked
Proton wasn't perfect but it did somewhat work for this game and was working fine up until this latest update!

You have decided to officially ban the use of Proton full stop because now when I load the game up I am hit with:
"Anti-cheat system works error. Please close related applications that may affect anti-cheat modules, or check system abnormal events. Reboot system and try to start the game process in administrator.
(13-131104-257)"

Traditionally I could restart the game a few times and pray it works but that seems to be NO MORE. I'm NOT using windows just to play one game, if you really hate that penguin just say so! :steamthumbsdown:

I've spent over $200 on skins, battlepasses and to backstab your proton players like that? Have fun thinking I'll ever play your GAME again!

Use proton experimental.

It was never supported, only promised.
But that promise came from the Global dev team, and there is no global dev team anymore.
CN does not care about global, so they wont read feedback.

Try to lunch the game through the luncher. If it dosent work, quit the game as a whole and start the application again. Still not working? Restart Steam and try again. If that didnt work, restart the computer and try again. Proceed the cycle till it works. I dont know if any of these steps actually help but eventually i am able to stay in the game.
I use GE-Proton10-21
