Yeah... I know it's a good weapon, but I was never a RoB guy.
Blood flies is also amazing against her, and it helped me beat Mesmer as well.
Edit: and like Nihrahk said, the range on them ‘kibas is superb.
There is a bunch of bosses that with parrying are a walk in the park.
BTW, I don’t get the negative reviews to the DLC. The art direction is even better than elden ring, the sense of immersion incredible and the bosses don’t seem any different in terms of quality or difficulty than the base game.
There is better katanas than that in the DLC; my end game weapon in NG+ are the Star-Lined Sword (which is a katana) combined with the Wing of Astel (curved sword) depending on the battle. The weapon skill on the Stat-Lined Sword is really cool with the same blood build up as the River of Blood.
This is true for some low-mid level (where you have not enough STR/DEX to handle Nagakiba) PvP.
